Panties? Yes. Bras? Awesome. Nice love letters about wanting to go for long walks on the beach? Sure. Tampons? No thanks!
One Direction their massive mega-tour is still in America, and it seems like the fans in San Jose have a ehmm, different kind of ideas about what their idols want to thrown at them.
And it are tampons. YES, tampons. Unused ones however, but still not something the band will have much of a use for. Unless they get a nose bleed, they are quite good for that.
Zayn Malik looked absolutely shocked, then a bit disgusted when he realized what had been thrown at them. That is because he is still a teenager and all girl bodily functions are disgusting to him.
Harry Styles tweeted that he would had fun though (maybe he missed the tampon gift) and he added that it was “the first time performing Best Song Ever”. Niall Horan added: “San Jose sick crowd! First time we ever did ‘best song ever’ tonight! What a reaction! Loved rockin out with the guitar on that!”
The boys were wearing San Jose Sharks ice hockey shirts, as that is the team that is normally playing in the concert venue. Yes, the band are that big, the city had to lend them an ICE RINK to perform on. Insane.
One Direction their reaction (which was a bit of a grimace) is actually quite restrained compared to Justin Bieber his reaction was when a fan threw an iPhone at him last week. What did he do with the phone, you ask? Oh, only RAM IT DOWN HIS PANTS like some sort of an animal. And then he threw it off stage the opposite direction. Mean!
It for sure is not the first time that One Direction have been overwhelmed by several sanitary products, when talking about a concert in Nottingham last year, Harry Styles admitted: “I got hit in the face with a tampon.”
So we are not really sure if this is a One Direction fan thing, or just some horrible coincidence. Let us re-live the Nottingham incident – it happens about a minute in – (and enjoy Liam’s old hair) and any Directioners who know the answer, let us know in the comments.
